Suited to total beginners and gadget aficionados alike, kids from 13 years old can have a go – learning some the basic manoeuvres and tricks, too. Starting with a short safety briefing, your instructor will explain will explain the kit – showing you how to stand up and manoeuvre on the water with a quick demo. Accompanied by your instructor, you will spend your lesson in the specialised training area on JBR Beach - learning how to perform twists, dives and takeoffs. Standing on the board, you are connected to a jet ski via a hose – allowing your instructor to regulate the water pressure and speed. As they increase the throttle, you will start to shoot up into the sky – flying up to 09-15 meters in the air or to dive headlong through the water. Once you master balancing, attempt a few basic manoeuvres like corkscrews, dives, or cruise along the beach and soak up those amazing Arabian views!
Operating throughout the year, flyboarding consists of a board, special boots rigidly attached to the board and a flexible hose connected to the water jet of the jet ski through which a powerful water spray comes and sets this design in motion. Water pressure (power/speed) is regulated by your instructor.
