Activity description

Go and experience white water rafting at it's best! The incredible Zambezi River is guaranteed to get your adrenaline rushing!

You'll have the most fun you've had in a while as the Zambezi river is rated number one in the world for white water rafting. Class IV and V rapids in the Batoka Gorge is what you'll be tackling throughout the day. No need to worry, even those with no prior experience can go along as you just need to listen to the guides, they know exactly how to behave and when, so you can just hold on! Maano Adventures will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and drop you off after, everything is taken care of for you.

There are two options for rafting with Maano Adventures, a full-day or and a half-day:

Both options start with a quick meet and greet followed by a safety brief and a unique swim below the breathtaking Victoria Falls. The rafting begins in "The Boiling Pot" a well known rapid. You'll have to paddle through a variety of rapids such as "The Morning Glory", "Stairway To Heaven" and "Gullivers Travels". The half-day excursion covers a distance of 11km. If you've taken the full-day option, which we recommend, you'll stop for a complimentary lunch before facing "The Three Ugly Sisters" and "The Oblivion", some of the worlds most actioned packed rapids. The Full-day option covers 23km.

Not for the faint-hearted, this is a full-on adrenaline rushing adventure, anyone is free to try and Maano Adventures will do everything in their power to help you.

There is a steep path when exiting the gorge, roughly a 20minute walk.
