Get to know Maxime Goby
Born in Perpignan in a beautiful village called Formiguères, Maxime has been skiing since he was 3 years old and snowboarding since 8.
He enjoyed skiing so much that he moved to Val-Thorens in the 3 Valleys, when he was 19 years old. If he could, Maxime Goby would, without a doubt ski all year round!
His experience as a professional snowboard and ski trainer started when he was 17, and very quickly he was coaching at his ski resort at the weekends and during holidays. He is independent since 2018.
Maxime obtained his Instructor’s diploma in 2013 and, today whilst he enjoys teaching skiing, his really passion is teaching freeriding.
Maxime is available in the 3 Valleys, but regularly moves further out too. Maxime will happily venture out to the Alps, the Pyrenees or even abroad. He's even been freeriding with Father Christmas in the North Pole!
Maxime loves to teach but also loves to learn. He is eager to create a rapport with his students by teaching them in their native language, which is why he taught himself English, Dutch, Spanish, Russian and Hebrew. Impressive!
