North of Phuket you’ll find the Sirinat National Park. Best known for its well-preserved white sand beaches and sea turtle nesting the National Park has both jungle and sea. With jungle all around, there are a ton of activities like ziplining, trekking and even motocross routes!

Khao Phra Thaeo National Park is another important natural landmark. The untouched rainforest is perfect for aquatic trekking and canyoning. With natural water pools and the renowned Ton Sai waterfall. If you’re lucky enough, you might even see some unusual forest creatures!

One of the absolute musts is a boat-trip excursion and scuba diving around Phang Nga Bay, where the famous Ko Tapu (James Bond Island). The place is now a Marine National Park declared a protected Ramsar Site. It has 42 islets, at least 28 species of mangrove, coral reefs and intertidal zone.

Head out away from the crowds and touristic fuzz to the Ko Lon, Ko Kaeo Yai, Ko Kaeo Noi or Ko He islands, located south of the province. Tour around with stand-up paddling, kayaks or depending on the season you can have some windsurfing adventures.
