Cappadocia is a truly unique place and it needs to be on your bucket list! You've most probably seen photos online of hot air balloons flying over interesting rock formations - well, that's Cappadocia!

Where?
Cappadocia is located in the central Anatolian region and is extremely famous for its spectacular rock formations also called "fairy chimneys". Those are the result of the combination of volcanic eruptions and the erosion of the Kizilirmak river and wind over ten thousands of years!
The best way to get to Cappadocia and the city of Goreme is by air plane. There are two airports in vicinity - Kayseri and Nevsehir.

When?
The best time to visit Cappadocia is during Spring and the late Summer period. Summer in Cappadocia is too hot, crowded and expensive. Winter is too cold, but offers great snowy views of the chimneys!

What?
The first thing that comes to anyone's mind when thinking of Cappadocia is obviously the flock of hot air balloons flying high above the fairy chimneys! This is a MUST for everyone!
Of course, there are many other fun and exciting activities that you could do such as quad and jeep excursions, hiking, cycling and many more!
