The town of Ierapetra is located in the southeast coast of Crete, and you can find the Ierapetra Bay. It liest south of Agios Nikolas and soutwest of Sitia. It is the fourth biggest city of Crete with many activities to do around.

First of all you will love the golden coast and the sandy beaches surrounded by palm trees. The waters are crystal clear light blue. You will love going scuba diving or simply swimming.

Ierapetra is a unique city - it combines the advantages of a big city and the resort style. With the large sandy beach in front you will be able to go swimming every day. Around Ierapetra of course you can find traditional villages that look to the Libyan sea. The small bays around Ierapetra are defined by rocky and pebbly beaches but with crystal clear waters.

The great thing to do around is to go scuba diving. Thanks to the clear waters you will have great visibility around. With the temperatures reaching 40oC sometimes passing a day underwater seems like a great idea!
