Skydive Franz is located between New Zealand’s highest mountains; the Aoraki and Mount Cook and the ocean. Along with the mountains and ocean, the 360° view includes glaciers, rainforest, rivers and lakes. This unique spot is a UNESCO world heritage area that is recognised for its untouched beauty and lush greenery.
Skydiving is an extreme adventure sport, but tandem skydiving means that nearly anyone can experience the incomparable sensations of freefalling and flying without having to do specialised training. People feel elation and a real sense of achievement after they’ve skydived.
Franz Josef
Franz Josef is famous for its glacier, but the village is the region’s largest town. So along with stunning natural scenery you also have a choice of top notch cafes, restaurants and range of other extreme activities.

Although Skydive Franz is a large company they only take small groups at each time slot. This is so the staff has time to give each of you a friendly and individual experience. The highly experienced team really enjoys talking to you and helping you feel at ease.
