Fréjus is a French commune situated in the Var department at the edge of the Mediterranean Sea. The weather conditions here are ideal for board sports and outdoor activities.

Like most of the French Riviera, Fréjus is exposed to the mild Mediterranean climate, where the mistral blows regularly. This enables you to practice kitesurfing as well as windsurfing in the Golf, where the water is often calm and flat. You can also enjoy the creeks, which can be accessed by the sea or via the coastal footpaths; they are not only useful but beautiful too for hiking and trekking excursions.

The red rocks that sit along the coast of Fréjus, house a variety of fauna and flora, such as fish, buttercups, sea urchins and moray eels – just waiting to be explored by scuba divers. The isles in the heart of the Golf are often protected as Nature Reserves for birds and coral.

The massifs of Esterel and Maures offer many climbing and canyoning excursions, notably on the rocks of Roquebrune where mountaineers can brave the steep cliffs.

The region of Fréjus is packed with winders, you won’t have to look far to find your next extreme activity!
