Description de l'activité
Escape from the city and experience a natural waterpark situated in the alpine forest with adventure canyoning experiences in Susa Valley.
A big day out that guarantees you'll get wet, canyoning in the Susa Valley is all about leaving your fears back at base camp and taking a leap of faith - diving into deep pools, navigating rocky ledges and sliding down waterfalls...
A 40-minute drive from the centre of Turin, the Susa Valley is situated in the Piedmont region of northern Italy, located between the Graian Alps in the north and the Cottian Alps in the south. It is the longest valley in Italy - extending over 50 km from the French border to the outskirts of Turin.
A 4-hour canyoning course suited to all ages, this activity is recommended for confident swimmers. Conveniently accessed off the road, the Rio Sessi and the Susa valley canyon system is a long and interesting route (1050m) renowned for its beautiful landscape and its challenging aquatic passages. Groups will have the option to opt out of the second section of the route that includes high jumps (11m) and rope-aided descents (25m).
The Rio Sessi and Susa Valley canyon system is an alpine water source which includes many deep pools, waterfall overhangs and fast flowing slides. Currents and water levels will vary depending on spring melts and rainfall.
