This activity is run & operated from Skjolden Brygge and travels to Feigumfossen waterfall in Feigum on the Sognefjord. The activity base is located close to the cruise ship terminal and the town centre.
Head down to the activity base on the banks of the Sognefjord for this jet boating & nature hike in Jotunheimen National Park. A three-hour excursion across Norway's largest & deepest fjord, start your adventure on the water - travelling at up to 30 knots along the Lustrafjord, the inner part of the Sognefjord, learning more about the natural heritage & cultural context of the region from your local guide. Dropping anchor in Feigum, explore the area on foot, following a walking trail to Feigumfossen waterfall - an impressive 218-metre cascade hidden deep in the hillside. From here you will get a good view of the impressive cascades of water. For those extra adventurous, there is a possibility to go even further, all the way to the foot of the waterfall, where you're guaranteed to get wet! Walk back to the boat where you will cruise to Skjolden - keeping an eye out for seals and dolphins along the way!
Suitable for all ages and abilities, this tour operates during the summer (June-August). The hike goes along the Feigum river and takes approx. 30 minutes. A well-maintained mountain trail, good footwear is recommended.NB! Remember to meet approx. 15 minutes prior to tour departure.
