East to the Gulf of Thailand you’ll find Pattaya, located just 130km away from the south-east of Bangkok. Pattaya is one of the best beach destinations in the country. Almost all year you have perfect weather conditions to have fun in the sun. Some of the most practiced sports are to windsurfing, kitesurfing, water skiing and scuba diving. It is actually considered the number one destination for windsurfing in Thailand.

One of the best diving spots is the Ko Lan Island, located just a 45minute ferry ride away from Pattaya. Here divers can immerse in the crystal-clear waters of the "Coral Island” and see the dense marine vegetation of the island.

November to May temperatures goes from 21ºC up to 33ºC, making it the best months to visit the Wat Phra Khao Yai. The Big Buddha Stature of 18metres high, located 100metres above sea level, overlooking the beahes of Pattaya.

Another important place to visit is The Sanctuary of Truth, located along the sea coast of Pattaya, is the largest wooden building in Thailand. Or the WatYanasangwararamWoramahawihan Temple, covering a total area of 146 hectares, it was built in 1976 to honor SomdetPhraYanasangwon.

Nature lovers can discover the 670 species of orchids, housed at Nong Nooch Botanical Garden. The garden has 2.4km square full of flowers and nature & has won several times international awards for their designs
