Lac d'idro : les meilleurs sports d'aventure

Lake Idro is an alpine lake surrounded by hoody mountains, at whose slope small welcoming villages are located. 

Its natural beaches in stone chippings are easily accessible from the camping sites and hotels, all facing directly the lake. 

Lake Idro offers the possibility to practice sports directly in contact with nature. Thanks to the constant presence of the Ander, a wind that blows from South to North each afternoon, the southern part of the lake is the ideal spot to practice windsurfing and sailing. The northern part of the lake, where the wind blows stronger, is frequented by kitesurf lovers. 

No wind in the morning? Well, get on a canoe and start paddling! For the brave ones, you can experience canyoning in the near creeks with family of friends.

If you are water allergic, there are still plenty of activities to do! Go Climbing on Corna di Fenere, or traverse the numerous Via Ferrata overhanging on the lake. Not high enough? well paraglide accompanied by trustful instructors to enjoy an outstanding upper view of Lake Idro!
