Planseeablauf or Jumping Jack canyon lies near the town of Reutte and Füssen at the entrance of the Lech Valley. Situated in the Allgau Alps, this open ravine is known for its high jumps and small climbs. Two high abseiling passages with 22m and 32m rappels are also part of this fantastic canyoning tour that spans the Austrian/German border. Filtering meltwater from the mountains into Austria's second largest lake (Plansee), Innsbruck is a 1H30 drive and served by an international airport and mainline train service to Reutte.
Meet your instructor at the activity centre in Tarrenz for a 5.5h canyoning excursion at Plansee (Jumping Jack) gorge. A challenging canyon system suited to sporty first timers +16 years old, this high-intensity adventure starts in the town of Auserfern in the Tyrol (return shuttle included). A varied gorge near Reutte, it is popular for its high jumps and long abseils 70m deep into the ravine. Be prepared to tombstone 15m into freshwater pools and rappel 30m down sheer rock faces and waterfalls to reach the bottom. A knee-trembling course that is equally rewarding, the gorge is accessed on foot and leads out right into town where you will be transported back to the activity centre where you can enjoy a warm shower and snacks once you're done.
A demanding gorge suited to sporty beginners or anyone with previous mountaineering experience, the total duration in the canyon is two hours and is accessed by foot (10 minutes) with a total transfer time of 40 minutes. All jumps, abseils and slides can be avoided if necessary but strongly recommended:

This canyoning tour requires that in addition to the general requirements, you are also physically fit and have previous canyoning/climbing/mountaineering experience.Special terms
