If canyoning wasn't enough of an adventure of its own, now you can experience the thrill of it all under the full/new moon!
Comfortably nested near the German-Austrian border, between the Fernpass mountain pass and the Zugspitze, Biberwier is a charming village of only 600 residents. But the mighty mountains surrounding this place make it the perfect canyoning spot for those who dare take on the challenge. Once a month, we can see the sky lit up by the round face of the shining Moon. A moment to reflect upon the immensity of nature and the Universe. Not only that, it is also the perfect time to get out there and enjoy the great outdoors.
Just imagine the scene: The silver glow of the full moon illuminates the rugged contours of the rocks and the sparkling water of the gorges. With a total of 12 abseiling points, ranging in height from 10 to 25 meters, you will see a varied and challenging terrain.
Rest assured, you will be safe with all the necessary equipment and an experienced, professional canyoning guide to accompany you on this unique journey. This canyoning experience is further enhanced by the magnificent mountain panorama of the Zugspitze that unfolds before your eyes.

- Meet your guide at the base and drive together to the gorge. The journey takes approximately 10 minutes.
- Canyoning excursion where your guide will show you how to overcome various obstacles.
- After about 4 hours in the gorge, your guide will drive you back to the base.
Activity requirements
- A minimum number of 3 participants is required for this activity to take place.
- All participants must be at least 1.2 metres tall.
- Participants must be able to swim confidently.
- Participants must not be afraid of heights.
- Participants must be in good physical condition and have previous canyoning experience to partake in the activity.
- Please note that with this tour you cannot avoid tricky passages and at times you need to pass directly through the waterfall.
