Enjoy the scenery of the Azores islands with stand up paddle lesson in the Sete Cidades lake located in a volcanic caldera in São Miguel.

São Miguel is perfect for hiking through its laurel forests and valleys such as Furnas and for discovering lakes such as Sete Cidades and Lagoa do Fogo, whose volcanic landscapes will leave you speechless.
The instructors of Fun Activities Azores Adventures propose you to discover in a stand up paddle class excursion the lake of Sete Cidades, which occupies the craters of ancient volcanoes on the shores of Lagoa Azul and Lagoa Verde. Relax, enjoy the natural beauty and discover the serene landscapes of this unique experience.
This stand up paddle class in Sete Cidades will begin with a short briefing on stand up paddle technique and safety concepts that your instructor will consider. After a brief warm-up game, let the ride begin! You will enjoy a fun stand up paddle ride on the Blue Lake and Green Lake of São Miguel guided by your instructor.

- Meeting with the instructors on the shore of the Blue Lake.
- Distribution of the Stand Up Paddle equipment and briefing on the use of the equipment and some concepts to take into account.
- Entry to the water and short stand up paddle ride to gain confidence and balance in the water.
- Start of the yoga class with some vinyasa stretching sequences accompanied by breathing exercises. The class will end with a short relaxation meditation.
- Paddle surfing back to shore.
Activity requirements
No previous experience is necessary and you don’t need to know how to swim, but you should feel comfortable in the water.
