Lanzarote's amazing locations allows year-round water activities, and among them all, sea kayaking is one you just can't miss. Kayak and Walk in Lanzarote offers you two different kayaking excursion. In both cases, you will paddle your way towards Playa Papagayo.
The crystal clear waters of Playa Papagayo and the imposing cliffs of Los Ajaches will serve as the backdrop for your sea kayaking excursion. After meeting at the center, you'll prepare the equipment and you'll be briefed. In this first part, you will learn safety standards and the correct way to paddle, you'll also be explained the itinerary.
Then off you go! You'll paddle from Playa Las Coloradas and pass cliffs, a cave, and the beautiful waters of Lanzarote's coast until you reach Lanzarote's most popular beach: Playa Papagayo. There, you'll have a picnic, take a dive into the ocean and even do some snorkeling. After this break, you'll continue to Papagayo Cape: the most impressive cliff in the area.
The second option will also take you to Playa Papagayos, but in this particular case, you will to the black cliffs of Castillo del Aguila and then into open waters of the Papagayo Cape. The next stops will be Los Ajaches, Puerto Muelas, Caleta del Congrio and Punta Gorda. Depending on how tired you might get, you'll take a break in Las Pilas or in La Fuentecita. This sea kayaking excursion is recommended if you already have experienced kayaking before.
All participants must be able to swim. Minors must have authorization from their parents.
