Discover the magic of the Northern Lights on this 5-hour, guided photography tour from Levi! Welcoming adventurers ages 10 and up.
Situated in Finnish Lapland, Levi is located north of the Arctic Circle and is surrounded by a stunning and pristine wilderness. A popular destination for outdoor activity enthusiasts, especially during the winter, Levi is one of the best places in the world to take in the breathtaking natural phenomenon of the Northern Lights.
Your evening begins at one of the listed meeting points in Levi (please specify when booking) where you'll be driven to the Beyond Arctic office. There, you and your group (a maximum of 8 people) be greeted by your experienced photography guide who will provide a briefing on the weather conditions, the Aurora forecasts, and the destinations (2-3 different locations). Your guide has local and expert knowledge of Northern Light hunting and is prepared to go the extra mile so that you may experience the thrill of a lifetime!
Once you've arrived at the location, you'll depart on foot with your headlamp on, in order to enjoy the vibrant colours in the tranquillity of nature. With a tripod, your guide is happy to share night-time photography tips and tricks and will take several photos of you and your group to mark the occasion (available after the excursion). In addition, you'll be treated to hot drinks and snacks. What better way to savour the moment? You'll return to the original departure point in Levi with lifelong memories!
