For your convenience, participants can choose between morning, afternoon, and midday start times. In addition, transfers are offered from select locations, please specify when booking. Once you've been picked up in Rovaniemi, you'll enjoy a scenic drive to the base camp. Upon arrival, you'll be outfitted in winter gear and meet your experienced guide/musher. They will provide you with a safety briefing as well as an introduction to dog sledding techniques.
After meeting your team of energetic dogs, the adventure begins! You'll set off at high speeds through the snow-capped Arctic forests, enjoying the adrenaline rush along with the picturesque panorama of Finnish Lapland. Along the route, you and your dog team will stop for a break. This is the perfect moment for taking amazing photos and for switching drivers! Once you've returned to the base, you'll be treated to hot berry juice and cookies. Your guide will also share fun facts about dog sledding and the lives of the dogs.
