Sunrise Stand Up Paddle Excursion from Stegna Beach in Rhodes

Rhodes is one of the largest and most popular Greek islands, located in the southeastern Aegean Sea. This activity takes place in Stegna, a small coastal village located on the eastern coast of Rhodes. It's known for its beautiful sandy beach, clear blue waters, and traditional Greek tavernas serving fresh seafood and local cuisine. Stegna is an ideal spot for a more laid-back experience on the island!

The activity begins at the meeting point on the beach in Stegna. You will be greeted by the experienced instructor, who will start with a safety briefing and introduction. This activity is suitable for those who have tried stand-up paddling at least once before. Once everyone has received their equipment, you and your group (a maximum of 12 participants) will set off into the turquoise sea!

Under the supervision of the guide, you will paddle out into the calm waters. You will explore the coastline together, discovering more secluded spots only accessible by sea, such as the Archangelos Cave or the island of Vrachonisida tou Archangélou. Early morning is the best time to paddle as the weather is calmer and the visibility is better. There will be fewer boats in the marine, resulting in fewer waves. Depending on the time of year, you may also get to witness a stunning sunrise on the horizon.

After mastering the techniques of stand-up paddling, there will be time to unwind on your board and swim in the refreshing water. You will visit a sea cave, and take a break on the sandy beaches. A traditional Greek snack and some local fruit will be served as you relax. At the end of the excursion, you will return to the starting point in Stegna and return the equipment.
