An original way of traversing the winter landscapes of Lithuanian backcountry, travel to the outskirts of Labanoras Regional Park on this kicksledding excursion and see breathtaking views, taste traditional cuisine or even round up your adventure in a traditional Lithuanian sauna before heading back to Vilnius!

Activity
Meet your guide in the city centre for this full day kicksledding excursion in Labanoras Regional Park. Take a day out from Vilnius to explore a winter wonderland in the Lithuanian backcountry. This tour will take you to the biggest forest in Lithuania – Labanoras. Your local guide will take you on a 15km route deep into the woods and through rural villages - visiting an observation tower high over Aukštaitija National Park. On this snow and ice adventure, you will use a traditional kick-sled to reach the islands on the frozen lakes, forgotten villages and tiny wooden churches. At the end of the tour, you will have a chance to warm up with hot tea and local cuisine in the traditional restaurant - even stopping to experience a traditional sauna! Your return transport will be waiting to take you back to central Vilnius (approx. 45min).
Conditions
This activity operated from December - March and is suitable for most ages and abilities. Please come prepared with snow boots and winter outerwear.
