Discover diving to a maximum depth of 12 meters on the west coast of Mauritius with Tamarin Oceanpro Diving!
If you have never dived before and would like to experience it in Mauritius, this half-day introduction to scuba diving is for you! In the company of an experienced instructor from Tamarin Oceanpro Diving, this initiation will allow you to know if you like the discipline and if you would like to move to the next level with a diploma training.
During this half-day session, your instructor will teach you the theoretical basics of diving and then invite you to a first test dive in the center's pool in Tamarin. If you are comfortable enough after this first dive, you will take the boat and head out into the open sea to a dive site chosen according to the weather conditions and your level of comfort.
After a briefing on the particularities of the dive site and the safety instructions, you will discover diving in the natural environment between Flic en Flac and the Ile aux Bénitiers under the watchful eye of your instructor, with all the necessary equipment that will be provided by the center. With a great experience, the team of Tamarin Oceanpro Diving guarantees you a quality teaching and a unique diving experience in Mauritius!
- Welcome at the diving center, presentation of the activity
- Learning of the theoretical bases of diving
- First try of the water in the center's pool (or shallow sea site)
- Travel by boat to the dive site (20 minutes max.)
- Briefing on the particularities of the site, the safety and the behavior to adopt during the dive
- Launch and dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters
- Return to the center in Tamarin by boat (20 minutes max.)

Not recommended for travellers with heart problems or other serious medical conditions
People suffering from asthma or any other respiratory problem, lung problems, chest disease or surgery, epilepsy, convulsions, fainting, diving accident or decompression accident, recent surgery (last 6 months), high blood pressure, heart disease or history of heart attack or stroke, heart surgery, ear surgery, hernia, ulcers or ulcer surgery, colostomy, any psychological problem MUST PROVIDE A COMPULSORY AND CURRENT MEDICAL CERTIFICATE certifying that you are fit to scuba dive. Please note that this is a non-exhaustive list and that there may be other medical conditions that will require prior medical approval.

Please note you are not allowed to fly for up to 24 hours after your last dive.
