Get to know Le Menhir Normandie Kite

Opened all year long, the Menhir Normandie Kite school was created by an avid kitesurfing fan, Quentin Benis in Cabourg, Normandy.

The school's reputation is based on safety, quality of lessons and the personalized attention for each student throughout its sessions.

Ideally located close to the kitesurfing spot, the new facilities are comfortable and cozy, allowing you to rinse and dry your equipment, and if you wish, relax on their terrace facing south. The boat is just few steps from the school, facilitating the departure of classes in open water.

Only 2 hours away from Paris, the spot is ideal to practice kitesurfing in safe conditions and perfect for beginners, as it is shallow water. There are also no rocks and it is protected from waves by large sandbanks at low tide.

The area called "ZRUK" is reserved only for kitesurfing all year round, even in summer. Indeed, there are no buoys or swimmers that could make the create a hindrance in the practice of kitesurfing. There are no restrictions here: the area is yours!

The beach also allows to practice mountain board for kilometers through large expanses of hard sand.

All these advantages give you the key to success and security.

The best conditions of practice on this spot are northern winds, north-western winds, western winds, south-western winds and north-eastern winds. In southern winds, they are able to take you to a deep water spot, with the assistance of a semi-rigid zodiac, to ensure your safety.
