Far up in the North, between the North Pole and Norway, are the Svalbard islands. Discover untouched wilderness and experience unique wildlife during this incredible snowmobile activity!
Did you know that there are more polar bears in Svalbard than people?
Roughly 3000 polar bears live around Spitsbergen and Longyearbyen during the winter months. However, it's not easy to find them. The best chances of seeing one are on the east coast in Spitsbergen. That's why your guide will take you there.
Via snowmobile, you will drive through huge valleys and pass ancient glaciers on your way to the east. You will stop at the top of one of the glaciers and enjoy the view of two remote and uninhabited islands: Barents- and Edgeøya.
After a long, but easy ride through the breathtaking Arctic landscape on your snowmobile, you will finally arrive at the destination.
Beware now! This is the territory of the polar bears and you shouldn't get to close. From a safe distance, hopefully, you will get the opportunity to observe one of these majestic creatures with your binoculars.
