Discover the breathtaking views in the Julian Alps and conquer Mount Trigav, the highest mountain in Slovenia!

At a height of 2,864 meters, Mount Triglav is a staggering mountain located in the heart of Triglav National Park. As a treasured symbol of Slovenia, it's also featured on Slovenia's flag and its national coat of arms.

During this hike, you'll have the special opportunity to climb this beloved national symbol as you immerse yourself in the surrounding mountains, wide rivers, and pure lakes located in the largest protected nature reserve in the country.

Feel confident in knowing that your IFMGA-certified guide is fully prepared in helping you to safely ascend whether you choose to do a 1-day or 2-day climb. For the 2-day hike, you'll have the opportunity to stay in the highest mountain hut in Slovenia!

You can expect a strenuous adventure to the top, so please be sure that you are physically capable to embark on these climbing routes.

This strenuous, 1-day climb will take you about 12-14 hours to get to the summit of Mount Triglav!

Your climbing route will take you through Krma Valley to Mount Triglav. You'll climb approximately 2000 meters with 400 meters of via ferrata. When you reach the summit, don't forget to take photos of the spectacular scenery surrounding you!

This can be an extremely challenging climb, so it's recommended that you have high endurance (level 5 on the scale between 1-5).

This intense, 2-day climb will take you about 16-18 hours to get to the summit of Mount Triglav!

Your climbing route will take you through Vrata Valley to the top of Mount Triglav. For all you adventure lovers who like a challenge, this is the most difficult ascent route which includes a via ferrata route that's 1500 meters long! You'll also climb approximately 2000 meters before you reach the summit where you can enjoy the incredible, panoramic views from above.

During your journey, you'll be able to rest at the Triglav Lodge at Kredarica. This is the highest mountain hut in Slovenia where you'll be able to have warm meals and enjoy the beautiful nature surrounding you.
